As a Biomedical Engineer, I graduated from the University of Southern California, and went to work for one of the largest Heart Surgery Companies in the World. Even though I was making a large salary and had a great job, I felt an immediate call to give it all up and take on the command God had shown me through his word. That command was to go into all the world and preach the gospel message to those who have never heard it before.
In Mark 16:15, Jesus told his disciples and friends to “go into all the world, every nation, and to preach the gospel to all creation.” In Matthew 24:14 Jesus said “and this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” John, describes a part of his vision in Revelation 7:9 as seeing “a great multitude that no one could count from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the lamb.” Right now God’s calling on my life has led me to southern Ethiopia in the horn of Africa. But there are unreached people groups all over the world.
Romans 10:12-15 says: “For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’”
They have not rejected the message of the Gospel. They just have not heard it. My aim is to change that. I do believe that every person should have a chance to hear the Gospel message. I have seen many come to the Lord and churches have been planted in southern Ethiopia. I have seen believers filled with the Holy Spirit and many healed. God has given our collective efforts success because he truly does want to see every tribe & people standing before him in heaven! Amen!
